Our favorite thing to do with our kids this time of year is to go on leaf walks. As we walk, we gather up each beautiful red, yellow, orange, brown, and multicolored leaf we come across, marveling over patterns and colors.
We typically come home with a stack of colorful leaves in our hands (and usually a pocket full of acorns and other treasures to boot).
But what to do with that pile of leaves? You don’t want them to get dried and crumbly, or see their colors fade.
