2 Sweet Kids’ Valentine Baskets

Posted by admin on

This year let's make Valentine's Day even sweeter for the littlest ones you love - your kids - with a Valentine's Day basket surprise.

We are all familiar with Easter baskets but this year let's make Valentine's Day even sweeter for the littlest ones you love - your kids - with a Valentine's Day basket surprise. We've crafted two sweet treats for your kiddos to celebrate love, and of course, chocolate!

2 Sweet Kids' Valentine Baskets

We're taking the traditional Hershey's sweets we love to give on Valentine's day and giving them our own unique twist. Today, we are sharing our sweet Valentine's Day baskets we created for our kids for this LOVE-ly holiday - a Hershey's Candy Sundae and Loads of Love Valentine Truck Basket. Shh, just don't tell them yet!

Hershey's Candy Sundae Valentine's Basket

My daughter loves all things sweet especially ice cream and candy and making fun sundae connotations on the weekend. With Valentine's Day falling on Sunday this year I thought a Hershey's Candy Sundae would be just the right way to treat her. I love the vintage feel of this creation and it's pretty easy to assemble.

You can make your own sweet Candy Sundae for your little sweetheart too with just a few supplies and some yummy Hershey's chocolates.

Candy Sundae Valentine's Basket Supplies:

  • Sundae glass: Look for these at a second-hand store or thrift store. (note this is an Amazon Affiliate link)
  • Styrofoam ball
  • Hershey's Milk Chocolate Conversation Kisses
  • Kit Kat Miniatures
  • Hershey's Milk Chocolate Hearts filled with Caramel
  • Hot Glue  (note this is an Amazon Affiliate link)
  • Curly Straw (note this is an Amazon Affiliate link)

Candy Sundae Valentine's Basket Directions

  1. Fill your sundae glass with Kit Kat Miniatures.
  2. Cut your styrofoam ball in half.
  3. Use hot glue to glue the half ball onto the top of your sundae glass.
  4. Add a small dab of hot glue to the bottom of your Hershey's Milk Chocolate Conversation Kisses and adhere to the styrofoam ball.
  5. Start at the bottom and work your way up and around, being sure to leave space for a curly straw if desired.
  6. Top your Candy Sundae with a Hershey's Milk Chocolate Heart filled with Caramel as the cherry! Viola, what a sweet treat for your sweet Valentine!

Hershey's Valentine Truck Basket

We haven't forgotten about your little heartthrobs either. Cars and trucks are big in our house lately with our 2 year old little guy. Give your little Valentine a "Loads of Love" Valentine truck basket filled to the brim with all your favorite Hershey's candies.

Hershey's Valentine Truck Basket Ingredients

My sweet little guy is just like his Daddy and loves peanut butter, so of course we had to include some of those goodies, as well as, a variety of other sweet treats from Hershey's.

  • Hershey's Milk Chocolate Conversation Kisses
  • Kit Kat Miniatures
  • Reese's Peanut Butter 5 oz Heart
  • Hot Glue (note this is an Amazon Affiliate link)
  • Dump truck on Amazon here. (note this is an Amazon Affiliate link)

Hershey's Valentine Truck Basket Directions

To jazz up the wheels in our "Loads of Love" Valentine truck basket for boys, we used double sided tape to stick Hershey's Milk Chocolate Hearts filled with Caramel in the center of the wheels.

Create a new tradition this year and give your kids a Valentine basket full of candy too!
