All the Pieces From Our Crate & Kids Collab That Team Domino Will Be Buying—But Not for Their Kids

Posted by admin on

Just this week, Team Domino launched one of our most fun collaborations yet, a furniture line with Crate & Kids, designed by our very own chief content officer, Kate Berry. But just because the line is technically made for little ones doesn’t mean that we grown-ups won’t be buying a few things for ourselves.

In fact, the collection is full of items—from sculptural table lamps to oh-so-cozy quilts—that no one would even guess are for the under-18 set. Here’s how Team Domino will be decorating our homes with the new Domino x Crate & Kids line.

Light the Way

I’m a sucker for a light shade of lavender paired with a warm orangey red. This tiny table lamp is small but has a big personality. Megan West, head of creative studio and brand innovation

Bright Idea

Anything bouclé immediately gets my stamp of approval, and the orange legs are such a playful detail. Kate McGregor, associate design editor

Corner Storage

A stylish hamper is a must when you live in a studio apartment like I do, and with this one, you don’t have to dig at the bottom for a lone sock come laundry day—you can simply unsnap your bag of dirty clothes and kick-start the chore. Lydia Geisel, associate home editor

Cuddle Buddy

I have a not-so-small thing for quilts, and this little sweetie reminds me of the graphic ones my grandmother used to make. And who doesn’t love Yves Klein Blue? Samantha Weiss-Hills, commerce deputy editor

Rock On

As someone who has a lot of stuff (and not nearly enough space), organizers have always been the apple of my eye, and these nifty cubes can be flip-flopped vertically or horizontally to house everything from papers to tapers. Morgan Bulman, commerce associate editor

Crafty Cool

It would be a dream to have all my craft supplies stored together in one area instead of different containers and spaces. Not only can this cart be easily moved around depending on the activity, it allows for my supplies to double as a display. Andie Diemer, deputy photo editor

Chic Seating

I just bought a new travertine coffee table that could easily sit six for dinner—as long as we all have comfy poufs to sit on. I love the pink and orange colorway, and they look way more expensive than their price tag.Julie Vadnal, deputy editor

Run With It

This little gal would be great for softening up narrow spaces by a bed or sofa or in a hallway—basically anywhere you want a hit of whimsy and cushiness underfoot. My 3-year-old will probably call dibs and have it layered in his room. Everyone wins. Alex Redgrave, executive editor

Creative Station

This baby checks all the boxes: tons of hidden storage, beautiful curves, and a pinboard to keep all my favorite pics and reminders front and center. I want to use this as a dresser-vanity in my bedroom. The desk area with storage is perfect for jewelry and  accessories, and the oversize drawers would be great for storing spare linens.
