
If you like simple and pretty crafts, this tutorial is for you. You gonna learn how to use scrap fabric to make a DIY necklace. It´s quite fast to make and perfect as a little handmade gift. And with a little help, even kids can do it.
Supplies:
- Fabric
- Beads or Marble
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Some Pins
- Needle and Thread
- Sewing Machine
Step 1
Cut a long strip of fabric.
Step 2
Fold the strip in two, wrong side out, and pin the edges together.
Step 3
Sew all the long of the strip
Step 4
Turn the fabric to have the right side out.
Step 5
Cut two pieces of ribbon. Take one and make a knot with the fabric.
Step 6
Make a few hand stitches to finish the knot nicely.
Step 7
Slides a bead inside the fabric.
Step 8
Push it to the end and make a knot with the fabric. Pull a little the fabric to have it as tight as possible.
Step 9
Repeat steps 7 and 8 for the others beads. You can use as much as you want.
Step 10
When you like the length of your necklace or you don’t have much fabric left, take the second ribbon piece and make a knot with the fabric. Don’t forget to make a few hand stitches to finish it nicely.

Tie a knot with the ribbon and enjoy your new homemade necklace. You can wear it at different length by adjusting the knot. Make it with different fabric pattern to match your outfits.
