I cut these paper flowers with my Cricut Maker 3, but this design can be cut on any Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, or Cricut Joy.

You can also use different colors of paper, cardstock, or construction paper. Feel free to use what you already have on hand to make your own cards.

Cricut Design Space:

This is not an SVG file but is a project in Cricut Design Space that you can use too.

I have sized the images to fit the individually wrapped Life Savers candies. Although you can resize the design if needed.

If you are using full 12x12 inch sheets of patterned paper you can cut about 15 flowers on 4 sheets of paper.

Assembling the Paper Flowers:

For each flower, you will need 4 flower pieces and 1 Life Savers candy.

Use a bone folder and carefully fold up the petals of the flower shapes. This gives the flower more dimension.

Place the middle-sized flower on top and press it into place.

That is all there is to it! Weren't these simple paper flowers?

This simple craft project could also be easily adapted for Mother's Day, May Day, or any day a cute candy flower bouquet could be gifted.

Helping the Kids:

I have 4 kids that needed some classroom Valentines, so we set it up assembly-line style.

One put the largest flower down, the second added the second flower, the third added the last flower, dad added the glue dot to the candy, and the last adhered the candy.

It worked great and didn't really take too long even though we made almost 150 homemade Valentine cards!

Since we were making so many, we didn't curl the flower petals with the bone folder. But I think they are cuter with this extra step.

When we were all done, each child turned their Valentine's day card over and wrote the to and from on the back.

Valentine Flowers are great for the Valentine's Day classroom Party. An easy DIY craft tutorial idea for paper flower candy valentines.

This was a really fun paper craft, and I loved that we all did it together.

Plus, I was able to use up some of my paper scraps!
