My favorite spaces are those in which everything has a place and is easy to find. My home isn’t exactly a shining example of how to achieve this feat, but with these creative bathroom organization ideas, I know we’ll get there in no time!
Master bathrooms can sometimes be overlooked when it comes to organizing. After all, it’s a space that’s frequently used and rarely seen by guests so it’s easy for it to fall off the “keep it looking pretty” to do list, but having an organized bathroom can make a huge difference in how the day starts and ends.
Nothing’s more frustrating than not being able to find what you need or running late because of something a little creative organizing could fix. These ideas are so clever, they’re sure to simplify any routine and make it that much easier to get out the door… or into bed.
One of the most valuable and yet frequently neglected and underutilized spaces in any room is vertical space. Yep, those lovely walls can hold a bunch of things if we just use them wisely! Floating shelves like these can provide a ton of storage space while still looking pretty and presentable with the addition of a few wicker baskets.
I’m sorry towel bar, but I’m breaking up with you. With four kids in our house, towel bars are just a nuisance I don’t want to bother with anymore. Hooks are much easier for kids to manage so towels may finally stay off the floor.
Hooks and hidden storage, now we’re talking! Whether you want to DIY your own bench or get one that’s already made, this is one bathroom organization idea that can definitely transform a space and make it a lot more functional! It could even be used in an entryway for storing jackets or shoes.
Opening a bathroom cabinet door can be a terrifying experience if the space isn’t organized. Instead of wading through a hot mess of beauty supplies every morning, simplify your routine with some pretty bins. Just because something’s going to be hidden doesn’t mean it can’t be cute.
A great way to keep things within reach but still organized and not cluttering up your bathroom counters is this magnetic organizer. Any pretty frame could work, and it’s a great way to keep those frequently used makeup products organized and easy to grab.
Mason jars attached to the wall is another great way to keep things easily accessible while reducing counter clutter. It’s also using that valuable vertical space we usually neglect and is simple to put together too!
As much as I love an uncluttered counter, some things may be best kept there. Using a pretty tray or display piece can help to keep things tidy and under control.
Baskets are always a good choice for corralling clutter in a pretty way, but they can take up a lot of valuable shelf and cabinet space, which is why I love this idea. Hanging them on the wall, above the toilet or maybe near a bathtub, is a great way to use space that would probably otherwise go neglected.
Closets are great… until they’re so deep they’re practically unusable. Being able to pull drawers out from the dark recesses of a linen closet or cabinet makes the entire space user friendly like this one. This is so much easier to keep organized!
Storing items behind cabinet doors is a great way to keep them accessible while still being hidden. It’s also a great way to declutter the countertop. I love this brilliant diy toothbrush storage idea.
We recently got this toothbrush holder that suction cups to a mirror for our kids, and I’ve loved it. It’s been a huge help in cleaning up our counters and keeping things more organized, but now I’ve got my eye on this one that has a UV light sterilizer. So smart!
My hair dryer, curling iron, and straightener are all throw in a drawer at this moment, which means I need to detangle cords every time I want to use one of them. Ugh.
Any time I find myself struggling with the same thing over and over again, I know it’s time for a new solution so I was excited to find these simple PVC holders. Are there any bathroom organization ideas that can’t benefit from PVC? 😂There are also options like this if you’d rather place it in a cabinet or on a shelf and not screw something into a cabinet door.
There are also over the door options like this one if you want to utilize the cabinet door space without causing any permanent damage.
This behind the cabinet door storage area is so pretty I just might leave my doors open all the time to see it!
Another really smart way to maximize space is adding storage behind a large mirror. Some you can even hand over doors, which would be especially great for temporary living situations.
I love all of these creative bathroom organization ideas, but even if you can’t implement them all, just one or two could make a huge difference in how a space functions.
Could you use any of these in your home? Which idea is your favorite?
