Install A Loft Bed

Functionality is a key part in how I incorporate mindfulness into my life at home & has been especially necessary for me to maintain a sense of calm while living in a small Brooklyn apartment. The width of my bedroom is shorter than I am & just a few inches wider than a queen-size bed. When I first moved in, this space fit an unlofted bed & a dresser. I took advantage of the height of the ceilings and have doubled the space where the bed once sat low to the floor by lofting the bed. Now I get to have a distinct sleeping space above & a working space/desk + a lounge space below (where I actually sleep 70% of the time after falling asleep to a David Attenborough documentary or an episode of "I Love Lucy"). The additional space has added so much functionality in my life which has invited in so much more peace & serenity. 💚
