Swap White Flour for Baking For Almond or Coconut Flour
Holiday cookies are part of the Holiday fun! However, white flour has the endosperm removed including the wheat bran which also removes all the nutrition! A great swap is Almond flour which is higher in protein, manganese, vitamin E and fiber than white flour! Now you can have your cookie and eat it too!
Swap White Sugar For Coconut Sugar
Similar to white flour, white sugar is void of nutrition. Swap white sugar for Coconut sugar which contains minerals such as iron, zinc, calcium and potassium. While its still sugar, coconut sugar its often considered a healthier sugar alternative, due do these minerals.
Swap Candied Yams For Candied Yams with Tessemaes Honey BBQ Sauce
Candied yams are made with yams, sugar and water. Simply enough right?! What if you could make candied yams with even more flavor but less sugar? Swap the sugar for Tessemaes Honey BBQ sauce as a delicious candied yam glaze with a kick! This BBQ sauce is also Organic & Gluten-Free!
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup Tessemae's Honey BBQ
- 1 tablespoon sliced green onion
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Peel the sweet potatoes and slice into rounds about 1/2 inch thick.
- Toss rounds in Tessemae's Honey BBQ Sauce and place in baking dish.
- Bake for about 35 minutes in the oven. Optional, cover baking dish with foil for the first 20 minutes while baking, this will help the sauce from browning as much.

Swap Deviled Eggs Appetizer with Processed Mayonnaise For Tessemaes Mayonnaise
Deviled eggs are a great Holiday appetizer! Two key ingredients are eggs and mayonnaise. However, most processed mayonnaise today are made with processed, refined soybean or vegetable oils. - 6 hard boiled eggs

- 1 teaspoon white vinegar

- Pinch chili powder blend
- Shell the hard boiled eggs and slice in half lengthwise.
- Pop the yolks into a small bowl and add the mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard and a pinch of sea salt.
- Mash and stir together.
- Pipe or scoop the yolk-mash into the egg white halves.
- Top with a sprinkle of chili powder, enjoy!

Swap Dairy InPotatoes For Potatoes With Tessemaes Ranch Dressing

- 2 pounds russet potatoes
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 bottle Tessemae's Classic Ranch Dressing & Marinade
- Peel and chop the potatoes.
- Add to a large pot with cold water and a heavy pinch of sea salt; bring to a boil.
- Cook until tender, about 15 minutes then drain.
- Add half the bottle of ranch dressing and mash potatoes.
- Using a strong wooden spoon finish mashing and stirring the potatoes; adding more ranch if needed. When I make this I usually use 3/4 of the bottle.
