Western culture meets sophisticated living in one of Denver’s most renowned suburbs. Once a farming community, Greenwood Village has transformed into the perfect meld of residential living mixed with a vibrant business community.

Whether you live in the neighborhood, work at one of the business parks, or are just visiting from out of town, we assure you Greenwood Village’s culinary scene is a second to none! From five-star establishments to local dives to large chains, below is our list of the very best restaurants in Greenwood Village. Criteria For Making Our List

Atmosphere, food, service! These are critical factors for any diner when choosing where to fill their belly next. Does the establishment have something that sets it apart? Are there dishes or cocktails that stand out? Is the service and hospitality consistent night in and out? Each Greenwood Village restaurant on the list below brings something unique to the table while checking multiple boxes on service, food, and atmosphere.

Chianti Ristorante Italiano

A Denver Tech Center standout, Chianti Ristorante is known for being hearty, delicious, and full of flavor. First opened in 2003, this Greenwood Village gem provides diners with a five-star Venetian culinary experience in a romantic setting. The wine display is quite impressive even for the most fervent wine aficionado, with hundreds of handpicked bottles resting on oak shelving. White table cloths, polished silverware, and sparkling wine glasses outline the tables, giving this authentic Italian experience a sophisticated touch. For primi, we recommend the Veal Meatballs or Burrata e Prosciutto. For secondi, we suggest Lasagna Bolognese or Pollo al Marsala. Of course, you can’t miss dolce, so be sure to try Cannolis or Tiramisu.

YaYas Euro Bistro

Not only do we love the name, but we love the whole YaYas experience! Centrally located on Bellevue Avenue, just off I-25, YaYas Euro Bistro is a massive, multidimensional restaurant – one of the largest spaces in Colorado. There is an immense bar with high-top seating, a full indoor dining room, and a gorgeous outdoor patio overlooking Greenwood Village Crescent Park. In fact, YaYas even made our list of best rooftop bars and restaurants in Denver. We recommend the Summit Creek Lamb Burger, Truffle Mushroom Pizza, and Penne Carbonara for happy indulgences. On the lighter side, try the Hummus and Pita, Steak Tabbouleh Salad, or Colorado Striped Bass. Lastly, YaYas is infamous for their Sunday brunch, with bottomless mimosas and bloody marys.

Del Friscos Double Eagle Steakhouse

Unparalleled ambiance marks Del Friscos Double Eagle Steakhouse. White linen-covered tables, mahogany wood staircases, massive wine rack walls, dimly lit overhanging chandeliers, and fresh, handpicked flowers help stimulate your dining experience. Founded in 1981, Del Friscos has been a Greenwood Village staple for over 40 years. But it’s not just the ambiance that sets this steakhouse apart. The food and wine list have won numerous awards, including notable mentions from New York Times, Business Insider, and Wine Spector. We recommend trying the Shrimp Cocktail and Blue Cheese Lettuce Wedge to start, paired with freshly baked bread rolls, of course. We suggest the delicious and always consistent Filet Mignon or Prime Strip, paired with a side of Creamed Corn or Lobster Mac and Cheese for your entree.

Lucy Restaurant

Named after the family dog, Lucy Restaurant is a family-owned and operated restaurant located in Landmark Village. Located above Comedy Works, this casual eatery is open only on selective days of the week, mostly Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Serving up modern American cuisine, some of our favorite dishes include the Lucy Burger, Lemon Chicken, and Roasted Salmon. For a delicious libation, delight yourself with the Mile High Mule, Double Platinum Margarita, or one of their many bourbons and blend.

Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill is one of the best seafood restaurants in America because of its high-quality food and service. In the year 2000, they opened their first location in North Carolina. Since then, they have opened up more than 100 locations all over the United States, including an excellent location in Greenwood Village. There is something for the whole family to enjoy with seasonal specials, a kid’s menu, and gluten-free options. The market-fresh fish is flown in daily, plus an array of woodfire grill specialties for those who love turf a little more than surf. Some of our favorite dishes include the Corn Chowder & Lump Crab, Parmesan-Crusted Rainbow Trout, and The Angler’s Sirloin Steak. Bonefish Grill is a “can’t miss,” just waiting to fill your belly with delight!

JING

JING combines flavors and ingredients from around the world to create a menu chock-full of unique Asian food concepts. With locations in Las Vegas and Aspen, the Greenwood Village restaurant may be the standout among the three. Magnificent displays of molecular gastronomy are pronounced in almost every dish served, leaving you speechless and curious for more. White tables, white booths, and white decor line the large dining hall, giving this Asian restaurant an ultra-chic ambiance like none other. We recommend the Evil Jungle Salad, Wasabi Lambchops, and Famous Peking Duck. The extensive menu also includes a full selection of sushi, sashimi, and traditional Asian noodle dishes.

Pizza Republica

Fine dining is sometimes best defined by simplicity. Pizza Republica specializes in cooking traditional Italian dishes with fresh farm-to-table ingredients. The beauty of their cuisine is rather than creating eclectic dishes, they focus on perfecting the conventional. Caesar Salad, Stuffed Shells, Napoleon Wood-Fired Pizzas… these are the types of dishes you can expect at this favorite local spot. Locally owned and operated, with two locations in the Denver Metro area, Pizza Republica is truly sensational.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

If you are a diner who tends to avoid restaurant chains, think again! Despite having over 45 locations in eight states, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is still family-owned, and the values are reflected in the food and service. Even more impressive is how consistent the seafood is from location to location. That’s because the Pappas family is obsessed with freshness, quick delivery times from the fishing dock to the restaurant, and a commitment to food safety in the kitchen. One of the benefits of dining at a chain is that you can expect massive portions compared to smaller, local restaurants that lack buying power. With too many great options to choose from on their extensive menu, we recommend the Cajun Specialities. After all, where else in Colorado can you get the flavors of New Orleans?

Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar

“Hapa” is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Sure, their menu has an assortment of traditional rolls, nigiri, and sashimi; however, like their unusual robot logo, Hapa Sushi is best known for eclectic sushi you won’t experience anywhere else. The Booty Call Roll and Aspen Roll are two your taste buds will thank you for later. Their kitchen also produces several unique appetizers, such as the Daikon Fries and Spicy Tuna Nachos. You don’t need any more reason to visit Hapa, but they are also locally owned and operated by a Colorado family and have several locations throughout the state. Furthermore, they have the best sushi happy hour in Denver, which is all the more reason to visit them for your next meal out.

Yanni’s Greek Restaurant

Opa! If you love Greek food, you are in for a real treat at Yanni’s. This family-run “taverna” has heart and soul, transcendent in the food, ambiance, and hospitality. Yanni’s brings out the enjoyment of life by making you feel like you are dining in a small Greek village. Sip a glass of wine or strong coffee while eating olives and spanakopita. Share a family-style meal such as the Village Sampler, Vegetarian Platter, or Pita Platter. Located at the Landmark in Greenwood Village, after your meal, peruse shops at the center or catch a flick at the nearby movie theater.

Dionysus Wine Bar & Restaurant

Arguably Colorado’s best wine tasting, Dionysus Wine Bar is the epitome of sophistication and elegance. Located at the Landmark, this local establishment should be your go-to for upscale dining. The exquisite menu matches the impressive wine list. Enjoy small, shareable appetizers such as PEI Mussels, Smoked Trout Crostini, or Truffled French Fries. Satisfy your appetite with one of their signature entrees, including Grilled Rack of Lamb, Prime Filet Mignon, and Coriander Crusted Ahi Tuna. Dionysus is also infamous for having one of Colorado’s most extensive wine tastings with over 120 carefully curated selections. They also offer a fantastic happy hour and live music. Make sure to call ahead to make a reservation.

Big Daddy Burger

You can’t have a neighborhood without a sports bar. Big Daddy Burger is a chain that prides itself on consistency. No member of the family should go hungry, as the salads are as delicious as the burgers, and the kid’s menu has something for even the pickiest little one. We recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids, Pastrami Burger, or Emilio’s Chicken for the overindulgence. If you are watching your figure, you can’t go wrong with Stella’s Greek Salad or the CYO Large Salad. The Big Daddy location at Landmark is massive, so you’ll have no trouble getting in. There is also a free parking garage right across the street for your convenience.

The 1UP Arcade Bar

Where else can you drink, eat, and lay back as the little ones go wild? The 1UP Arcade Bar is packed wall-to-wall with arcades, pinball machines, and video games. They even have $2 beers and $3 well-drinks for happy hour every Monday – Friday and all day on Sundays. This family-fun concept has caught on quickly, as they now have three locations throughout Denver, but the Greenwood Village arcade is by far the most accessible, with free parking nearby. If your kiddos find themselves breaking the pinball machine records, be sure to check out their tournament schedule. This is also a fantastic place to reserve for a birthday party or special occasion.

Shanghai Kitchen

Conveniently located off Bellevue and Yosemite, Shanghai Kitchen delivers some of the best Chinese Food in the Denver Metro Area. Catered more towards takeout and delivery, this authentic family-owned restaurant is perfect for an easy and convenient way to eat at home. The menu includes traditional dishes like lo mein, fried rice, egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken. Delivery times are fast, the staff is friendly, and the menu is extensive, making this Chinese restaurant our favorite in Greenwood Village.

Shanahan’s Steakhouse

The two-time Super Bowl-winning coach of the Denver Broncos wasn’t just good at coaching football but also restauranteering. Voted the best steakhouse by Mashed.com, Shanahan’s is a unique and rewarding dining experience for all five senses. The lofted ceilings and open layout allow for ample natural light, while the fireplace provides a cozy Colorado feeling during the cold winter months. The impressive wine cellar displays 4,000 bottles of red wine and 1,500 bottles of white wine, leaving even the most versed wine connoisseur awe-struck. All of the produce is Colorado-grown and organic, and the seafood is flown in daily and certified by the Marine Stewardship Council. We couldn’t rave more about several signature dishes, like the Dutch Harbor Red King Crab Legs, the 36oz Wagyu RibEye Tomahawk, and the Center Barrel Cut Filet and Lobster. FYI, the $79 3-course prime rib menu is perhaps the best special in town. Don’t forget to hold the 1997 and 1998 Denver Broncos Super Bowl Trophies before you leave!

Conclusion

Greenwood Village has quickly developed into Denver’s most dynamic suburb. Once farmland and orchard, it has grown into a vibrant business hub, sprawling with quaint family neighborhoods and easy access to all major highways.  Whether you live here, work at DTC, or are just visiting Denver, the culinary experience in Greenwood Village is simply a cut above.
