I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: I love chicken nuggets.
Chicken nuggets have been the biggest constant in my life next to the little permanent hole above my belly button that signals a time of teen angst marked by my eleventh grade “rebellious” naval piercing. While my palate has changed over time, my affinity for chicken nuggets has persevered and proven to be a bit of a personality trait.
So when I admit, “I don’t think I could ever be a vegetarian,” it happens to be for the sole reason that I’m not yet willing to part who I am (which happens to be 23 percent chicken nugget). That being said, I’m not sleeping on how tasty eating vegetarian can be. One look at any of the drool-worthy recipes featured below and I know, that if it weren’t for my committed relationship to the nuggets, I could go without meat for the rest of my life.
