A FLAVORFUL SIDE DISH RECIPE

Italian-cut green beans, bacon, garlic and diced tomatoes - a delicious combination of flavors! Using frozen green beans is not only a budget-friendly option for this side dish but a super fresh option. Green beans are picked and frozen at the peak of their freshness. The flavor is locked in until you unleash it during cooking!

TIPS FOR MAKING ITALIAN GREEN BEANS:

  • These green beans go delicious with lots of pasta dishes! Crock Pot Creamy Italian Chicken & Pasta, Easy Lasagna Rolls, and Crock Pot Ravioli are all great meals to serve with this!
  • You do not have to use an Italian cut green bean like I did here. Any green bean will work. Just try to use about the same amount.
  • Frozen or canned green beans work in this recipe. I haven't tested it with free green beans but it should work. The cooking time would be longer and you may have to cover the skillet to help steam them.
  • The Italian Style diced tomatoes have Italian herbs in them for additional flavor (like basil and oregano).
