Diary of a Homemaker’s Week: We Are Gonna Do This
Posted by Admin on
Saturday: I slept well last night. It was especially nice to have a bit of a lie-in this morning and not come out until 8am. My only mistake was not eating a proper breakfast. I paid for that a little later. All I would have to have done was eat a little bit more. We had to go do the errands we couldn't get done yesterday. I loathe going to the grocery store on Saturdays. I mentioned last time we got our haircuts that we'd had an awesome experience at an out of the way salon. Today we opted for...

Gennaro’s commentary, tongue-in-cheek though it might have been, was a condemnation of the inhumane, ultra-thin standards that models in the ‘90s would regularly conform their bodies to fit. Apparently, not a whole lot has changed since then, as just a few months ago, The New York Post declared “heroin chic” is...
This traveling exhibit showcasing failed products and services hits NYC next month

In today's odd-but-pretty-enticing news: the traveling Museum of Failure, which "brings together over 159 products and services that were a total flop but also paved the way for other great inventions," is officially opening in New York on March 17 and tickets to the experience are already available right here. The destination will stay open at 220 36th Street in Industry City through May 9. Walking through the space will take you about an hour, during which you'll come face-to-face with the toothpaste brand Colgate's (pretty hilarious!) beef lasagna frozen TV dinner, Donald Trump's board game, a Harley Davidson perfume and a...
